Franz-Josef-Strauss, Munich- Airport has a number of direct connections: Munich Airport

There are two fast train lines to connect to the city centre (S-Bahn lines S1 and S8)

and reach the subway network (U-Bahn, the same ticket remains valid).

A Taxi ride to/from the airport costs around 100 € during the day.

Conference venue and local transport

The symposium will be held at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany

(Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy) on the campus of the LMU Großhadern.

To reach the campus from the city centre (e.g. Marienplatz)

take the subway line U6 in the direction of Klinikum Großhadern,

and get off at Großhadern (directions).

Go towards the end of the train, go one level up, then

use the stairway to your left and keep left. You are now on Würmtalstrasse.

Walk straight ahead along Würmtalstraße until the campus comes into view

(large modern buildings) on your left (10 to 15 minutes).

You can also take the bus lines 160/268 (direction to Blutenburg/Pasing)

and get off at Waldhüterstrasse (map).
